A REMARKABLE ACHIEVEMENT: NOBLE ALLIANCE LAUNCHES OPERATION “PEACE BOW TIE” IN THE KIVU REGION
Geneva, Switzerland – Noble Alliance today announces the official launch of Operation “Peace Bow Tie”, a key initiative strengthening the bonds at the heart of its programme “Giving Is Receiving”. Deployed in the Goma and North Kivu region, this project aims to establish a comprehensive ecosystem for the protection of animal and human health in highly challenging environments.
In response to the complexity of the local context, Noble Alliance delivers a clear message: the protection of animals is inseparable from human dignity and social reconstruction.
A Pillar of Public Health: One Health
Operation Peace Bow Tie is grounded in the One Health paradigm through the provision of clinical care to animals. On the ground, field teams also engage with families to share hygiene protocols and animal welfare standards, thereby strengthening overall sanitary security within communities.
Mental Health at the Heart of Resilience
Beyond clinical intervention, the initiative addresses a critical psychosocial imperative. In regions affected by instability, companion animals are far more than companions: they become true sentinels of mental health, offering stability, reassurance and emotional anchoring.
