Born from the dream of two pet parents and their golden retriever Frehel, Noble Alliance is the first organisation in the world to declare the human–animal bond a universal value of humanity.
Established in Geneva as a Swiss nonprofit, Noble Alliance is dedicated to building a community that values and treasures this bond. We are family.

Declaration of the Universal Value of the Human–Animal Bond
Le lien humain-animal est une valeur universelle de l'humanité, heritage commun de tous les peuples, de tous les temps, de toutes les civilisations. Cinq principes directeurs en sont l'expression.
The human–animal bond is a universal value of humanity, a shared heritage of all peoples, across all ages and civilisations.
Five Guiding Principles give it form.
VIVRE
Le lien humain-animal est inséparable de la vie de chacun. Toute société lui doit respect.
To live: The human–animal bond is inseparable from the lives of all people. All societies owe it respect.
PRENDRE SOIN
Le lien humain-animal est un bien commun de l'humanité. Nul n'est dispensé d'en prendre soin.
To care: The human-animal bond is a common good of humanity. No one is exempt from caring for it.
PROTEGER
Le lien humain-animal est inviolable. Nul ne peut, par acte ou par silence, le laisser périr.
To protect: The human–animal bond is inviolable. No one may, by act or omission, allow it to perish.
GOUVERNER
Le lien humain-animal est constitutif de la vie commune. Toute cité lui doit une place.
To govern: The human-animal bond is constitutive of shared life. Every city owes it a place.
IMAGINER
Le lien humain-animal fonde notre avenir commun. Nul ne peut s’en exclure pour l’imaginer ensemble.
To imagine: The human–animal bond is the foundation of our shared future. No one can stand apart from imagining it together.
The Five Arts
Noble Alliance is committed to setting the Declaration in motion. Aligned with its five principles, we define five corresponding Arts. Each is a discipline of the journey formed through independent research, enriched by dialogue, open to the world, and sustained by a belief in the extraordinary richness animals bring to human life, and a debt to them that can never be fully repaid.
The five Arts encompass eight thematic areas, distinct pathways of impact through which this commitment is translated into action.
