THE HUMAN-ANIMAL BOND HONOURED

Frehel Fellowship

The Frehel Fellowship honours the animals at the centre of extraordinary bonds.

They changed a life. Some changed a community. Some changed the world. For the first time in history, their contribution has a name.

WHAT IT IS

The world's first award dedicated to the human-animal bond.

Every bond is singular. But some bonds do something more: they transform the person who lives them, the community that witnesses them, or the world that is changed by them.

The Frehel Fellowship exists to honour the animals at the centre of those bonds. Not the humans. The animals. For the first time in history, their contribution is recognised, their name recorded, their story told.

Named after Frehel, Noble Alliance's golden retriever and Eternal Chief Petriots Officer, the Fellowship is awarded to companion animals, working animals, and service animals — living or posthumous, known or overlooked. Every Fellow enters Noble Alliance as an Honorary Member in their own right.

Do you know an animal whose bond has changed something?

The Frehel Fellowship is open to nominations throughout the year. If you know an animal — a companion, a working animal, a service animal — whose contribution to the human-animal bond has been extraordinary, this is your moment to give it a name. Registration is free.
